I forgot my password
Use Forgot password: a link is sent to your Orneos address and your backup address. Set one in your account: it is what lets you get back in.
I lost my phone (two-factor authentication)
Sign in with one of your backup codes (abcd-efgh) instead of the code. If you have none left, write to us from your backup address: we will check your identity before turning two-factor off.
Which name do I sign in with?
Your username (the part before @orneos.eu), your full address, one of your aliases, or an address on your own domain: they all lead to the same account.
How do I change my password?
In your account, Security section. The new password works for the site, the cloud and email. Apps already connected (phone, computer) stay connected.
Use Orneos in Outlook, Thunderbird or the Mail app
The IMAP and SMTP settings are in Mail settings. On iPhone and Mac, the profile on Your devices sets everything up in one go.
Bring my Gmail, Yahoo… email over
The Bring your data page copies your whole old mailbox, folders included, in the background. Gmail, Yahoo and iCloud first need an "app password" created on their side: the page takes you there.
What is an extra address (alias)?
Another @orneos.eu address delivered to your usual mailbox, for online shopping for example. You can also send from it. Manage them in your account (Plus: 5, Pro: 15).
Use my own domain name
With Pro or Teams, open Your domain: prove the domain is yours, then copy the DNS records shown. Everything is checked automatically.
Files and devices
Set up Orneos on my phone or computer
Follow the Your devices page, which detects your system: app, server address to copy, then your usual Orneos sign-in.
Back up my photos automatically
In the app on your phone, open the settings and turn on "Auto upload". Your photos then show up in Photos and Drive.
Share a file with someone without Orneos
In Drive, click the file's share icon, then "Create a link". You can add a password and an expiry date.
Plans and billing
Change plans
From Pricing, or "Manage my subscription" in your account if you already subscribe. The change is immediate and prorated.
Where are my invoices?
In your account, "Manage my subscription" button: every invoice can be downloaded as a PDF.
Cancel my subscription
In one click from "Manage my subscription" in your account. You keep the plan until the end of the paid period; nothing is deleted afterwards.
Teams
Create a space for my team
Open My team, enter a name and the number of members, then pay. You can then create accounts, add your domain and share a folder, a calendar and contacts.
Add someone to my team
In My team: create an account for them (they get a link to choose a password) or invite an existing Orneos account. A free seat is needed; add seats in the subscription if required.
Hand my team over to someone else
In My team, "Transfer ownership": the chosen person takes over the subscription when your paid period ends, and you stay an admin.
