Does Orneos encrypt end to end like Proton?
No. Connections are encrypted, but the server can read your data, which makes search, previews and online co-editing possible. If end-to-end encryption comes first, Proton is the better fit.
Can I use my email app?
Yes, over IMAP and SMTP, even on the free plan. The settings are in your space, under Email setup.
Can I import my emails from Proton?
Yes, with Thunderbird: add your Proton mailbox (through Proton Mail Bridge, on Proton's paid plans) and your Orneos mailbox, then drag your folders from one to the other.
